Residence Fire Destroys Home of George Lauderville
Fire last Saturday night gutted George Lauderville's residence at the corner of Railroad avenue and Sloop street while the family was away. A portion of the barn burned as firefighters, hampered by no water mains access, used the department’s chemical apparatus. Estimated loss stands at $1,600.
