Stephen Witherall a 40 year old milker from Auburn declared he would kill himself if he drank again. He went to Auburn Wednesday morning drank heavily then shot himself in the head that afternoon. He lived over two hours as physicians fought to save him before he died. The body was brought to Seattle by the King County deputy coroner.
