Grocer Brong Plans Prosecution Over Grocers Combine
C R Brong of East Union Street intends to press Prosecuting Attorney Mackintosh to prosecute members of the Wholesale and Retail Grocers associations. Brong accuses them of conspiring to force him out of business by restricting trade and cutting supplies after he continued to offer low prices. He says he faced threats and refusals from Fischer Bros and Charles H Lilly Co as the Retail Grocers association branded him unfair. Brong vows to pursue legal remedies to operate without grocer dictates.
