Police seek charges of cruelty to animals against Mrs Hanson of 1902 Terry Avenue after she allegedly hanged an Airedale over a cat chase and tossed the body from a balcony. Neighbors witnessed the act as Humane Officer F. C. Hopper and Deputy Prosecutor Jorney Carmody obtained a warrant.
Fire broke out amidships on the Bainbridge steamer of Foglie Harbor Transportation Co at King and Winge dock in West Seattle early morning. The vessel suffered about $4,000 in damage with most of the main cabin destroyed as workmen used an acetylene torch. Machinery was damaged but kept from complete failure by water used to fight the flames.
