A Seattle school board bulletin urges sane simple dress for girls noting dress conveys seriousness about work. Seniors are considered wise and the guide lists outfits middy blouses dark skirts tan dresses and simple necklines with hair neatly styled and no conspicuous jewelry before lunch-pocket guidance.
Letters allege Policeman No. 106, Officer F J Phillips, used fists and kicking against civilians. Accounts describe abuse on Washington street and a disorderly conduct arrest, with a painting contractor Evans and A Antinius urging removal from the force.
Antone Duddilas, 35, lies dying in the city hospital from a gunshot wound to the head, allegedly fired by Barbara Lukosky, 22, a Russian national, at 1212 Ninth Ave S after 12 today.
