DeMille Tops Censors In The Affairs of Anatol
Cecil B. DeMille defies censorship by producing The Affairs of Anatol with most of the original play’s grit removed. The film centers on a love–first approach, moral reconciliation, and a non wicked plot while boasting one of the most extravagant casts on record. The movie runs in its second big week at the Strand.
