Seattle milk retailers cut price 40 cents per 100 pounds harming farmers while a city milk commission is urged to arbitrate. Homer Detrick secretary of the King County Dairymen's Association says retailers act to sway public opinion and warns that arbitrary price cuts threaten municipal control. The new price drops to 14 cents per quart from 15, cutting wholesale receipts to 3.25 dollars per hundred pounds of milk.
