San Francisco bookmakers list Jack Sullivan as underdog against Al Kaufman at the Min ton arena with odds moving from 8 to 10 to 6 to 10 as the fight approaches. Public betting remains brisk though doubts persist about Sullivan’s chances.
The report notes Hamilton Studio plans a weigh in for a heavyweight fight with Kaufman expected near 195 pounds. Sullivan claims he weighed 158 pounds against Squires and expects around 166 for Kaufman, casting doubt on his ability to hit 163 this afternoon.
Los Angeles November 28 Kid Farmer of Chicago fought Mike Twin Sullivan in Los Angeles. Farmer showed awkward defense and took swift punches from Sullivan, going down several times before his seconds paused the bout. The Turkish baths under Grand theater provided the setting.
