Auto crashes through Lake Union trestle injuring three
A car skidded on frosty planks at the edge of Lake Union at 6 am Thursday, crashed through the railing and fell 12 feet to the beach. Three men were injured, driver William Riley 28 suffered cuts and bruises, B F Berggerman 25 sustained seven ribs and a lung puncture, and Byron Conselyea a nose cut and facial injuries. Riley was arrested for reckless driving.
