Opening of Dr Leonard's Revivals Draws Big Crowd
A bi weekly evangelistic series started at First Methodist Episcopal Church on Pirie and Marton streets drawing a large morning crowd and over 400 pledging to attend both Thursday and Sunday services. The evening session filled the 2000 seat auditorium with Dr A W Leonard delivering What the Bible Says About Sin. Four men and one woman accepted Christ, with several seeking church membership. Meetings run through the first Sunday in January. Next week the sermon will cover What the Bible Says About Salvation.
