Robbers Torture Storekeeper In Hazleton Burglary

John Totten a 71 year old boot and shoe dealer in Tam anend Hazleton is near death after four burglars entered his shop at night with revolvers. They bound him and beat him when he refused to reveal where money was hidden, then ransacked his home and escaped with 35 cents. He was found unconscious by neighbors in the morning.
