Reports from Copenhagen and Amsterdam note workmen and soldiers seized the imperial palace at Potsdam trapping the kaiserin crown princess and other princesses. Berlin dispatches say the former kaiser denies fleeing Germany but left to avoid embarrassment.
Headlines announce a three day peace and a halt to hostilities on all fronts. Evacuation and surrender of equipment proceed as world celebrates. Emperor Karl abdicates and Kaiser Wilhelm is restrained in Holland. Crown prince death rumor reports, Germans work toward new governments, and American drafts pause with unsigned ballots returned.
Reports across Europe claim the former crown prince was either dead or alive. In Berne Frederick William’s body was found bayoneted, while Copenhagen cites German news that he is with his troops. Paris says he arrived at Maasricht after noon, and The Hague notes persistent reports he was shot attempting to cross the frontier with Prince Albert's brother said to have escaped.
The dispatch says a peace meeting in Versailles before year’s end will discuss the trial of the former Kaiser Wilhelm II. He arrived in the Netherlands on Monday with a special train to Maarsen to stay at Count Von Bentinck’s castle.

London reports a German high command warning that mines laid in Ostend are timed to explode, signaling a threat tied to coastal bombardment and naval operations.
DUNKIRK France Navy reports Brussels will be freed this week with Allied forces advancing on the Belgian capital. Soldiers and ships confirmed progress as operations near completion.

In Paris on November 13 the paper Le Matin notes German plenipotentiaries presented to French lines on Thursday and Maj. Bourbon Dunsel told Gen. Winterfeld that three German parliamentary officers claimed the armistice was signed. Winterfeld called it an interpretation error while operations continued.
The American army marks time at the front awaiting orders from Marshal Foch for the next move. Few Germans seen suggest plans to withdraw to their border. Hostilities’ end has shifted the front to peaceful pride as troops march no longer to battle but to celebration in French towns.
Paris wireless dispatch reports the allied high command has informed the German high command that an extra 24 hours has been granted for evacuating Belgium Luxemburg and Alsace Lorain.
