A dance hall panic after a fire in a nearby livery stable left over a hundred hurt with many unlikely to survive and one death. The hall burned to the ground as rescuers pulled survivors from the smoke and flames. Thirty-five horses perished in the blaze.
Minot Ravage writes in the Four Track News about a trip to the coast and Mount Rainier. He describes a solitary cloud southeast that marks the blue, its shape unchanging as Rainier seems to sink and settle in the distance.
Cheyenne Wyo Nov 12 One of the worst wrecks in Union Pacific history occurred three miles east of Granger. Eastbound mail No 3 crashed into a fast freight train. Officials say at least nine dead and five seriously injured. Names include engineer Feckles and conductor Lowman.
Nine people injured and one fatally as Baltimore and Ohio passenger trains collided at Boyd station. One train failed to clear the main track after a switch, tearing a side from the fast passenger train. Pullman conductor Conrad likely to die. E. J. Doran of San Francisco severely injured.

Athens Ohio November 12 The grand jury indicted members of the Fourteenth battery connected with the killing of Corporal Clark of the Chio militia last August The defendants include John L Lott G Q B Davidson A F Barnett John Johnson R Pearson E D Plumb W H Raymond J P Duffy and Harvey Snyder for assault with intent to kill and rioting The trial dates have not been set.
A Crete dispatch reports the Hattic fleet in port for repairs including a battleship two cruisers and torpedo boats. The delay could stall their departure for the far East while officers say Japan plans an assault on the fleet in the Red sea.
Serious riot occurred at Vienna University this morning as German students attacked Slav and Italian peers. The clash spread widely forcing Slavs and Italians to retreat across campus. Separately, Great Northern Railway plans a new daily train between Seattle and Vancouver starting January 1, departing Seattle at 4 p.m.
