Archbald and that coal deal described before committee
Testimony before the House judiciary committee alleges Judge Archbald told coal dealer Thomas Jones that Lehigh Valley and the Girard estate jointly owned a dump and planned a lease. Jones claims Archbald and he planned to form the Jones Coal Co and lease the property with financing from Thomas Farrell of New York.
