Seattle girl badly hurt in Tacoma interurban crash
An 18 year old Seattle girl, Vernan Waldron, daughter of Mrs Waldron, is badly bruised with a broken leg after a derailment on the Puget Sound Electric line near Tacoma. Her mother was slightly injured. Five or more passengers suffered serious cuts and bruises as the derailed car struck flat cars in the Puyallup avenue yards. The rear car No 607 was attached to train MM which left Tacoma at 7 10 oclock. The cause of the derailment was not clearly understood.
