A long established shop on East Pike Street expands into a newly renovated space formerly occupied by the Champion Co. The move brings a larger, modern headquarters for Ford Central Agency, consolidating operations and signaling growth.
Ford Central Agency in the city moves to a new 70 by 128 foot building on 10th Ave and Senecast, adding a service department led by Charles Fairchild. The Pike Street location remains open for parts and accessories, while Wallace’s sales staff Ean Smith and S. A. Thayer stay at the Pike office. The service team moves mid June, with the Drexel model drawing interest at Pacific Motors along with upcoming Harroun cars.
A. E. Morrison Rainier Motor Corp sales manager in Seattle commends Paige Motor Sales Company as local Rainier trucks distributors. He notes traffic congestion on the coast with about 76,000 cars stalled between Chicago and the Atlantic, and westbound freight being sidetracked to free tracks for eastbound traffic.
J. E. Fields sales manager visited the Seattle plant last week for Stupp Motor Company. Fields reports Hupmobile moving toward its most necessary year since organization and notes a coming shortage of higher priced cars due to strong demand and material shortages.
