Dr FE C Neville announces his candidacy for the Republican nomination for coroner of King County. He lives in Seattle, is 44, Ohio-born, a Fort Wayne graduate and lifelong Republican. He is a life member of the Elks and wife of the Eagles and belongs to several Masonic lodges in Seattle.

Factionalism Flares in King County GOP Nomination Talks

George W. Allen led a King County Republican luncheon debate on whether Humphrey should be dropped for Chilberg or Albertson to beat Poindexter. Attendees split between backing Humphrey and switching to Western Washington candidates, with Hadley and others urging unity to defeat Poindexter. John T. Staton bridegroom and confessed burglar was married two weeks ago in the county jail while awaiting sentence and is en route to the state reformatory at Monroe to serve one to 15 years. James Donovan drew a like sentence and accompanies Staton. Both testified against George Rose in the robbery of Miss Elsie Birks of 907 Sixth Ave.
