British torpedo cruiser Goliath sinks at Dardanelles

May 13 report says the Goliath was torpedoed and sent to the bottom with about 500 men killed. Churchill announced in Commons that the submarine B-14 sank two Turkish gunboats and a large transport after the strike. Some casualties were later revised to 20 officers and 160 men saved. prior losses included Ocean and Irresistible, with Bouvet also destroyed.
