Chauffeur William Shapiro described driving gunmen to the Hotel Metropole and hearing one say Becker had fixed the cops.
Frank Hadavis aged 55 was taken into custody at Ravensdale Monday night and died in the county jail at 6 30 today. He lay on a cot and believed he was under attack from unseen foes, fighting through the night until exhaustion caused his death. The Port Commission reported high wharfage charges but noted a gradual reduction due to competition between municipal and private wharves.
Seattle physician Dr. L. H. Redon died from wounds after being struck by an automobile near the Henry building rear alley Friday midnight. Police broadened their probe with no results. coroner's inquest held. funeral set for tomorrow at St. Mark's Episcopal church at 12:30.
