Fort Lawton Troops Headed to Front in Patrol Duties

The 14th Infantry Regulars from Fort Lawton ride by train through Oregon toward Douglas Arizona. The 387 soldiers 11 officers 72 horses and support units left Seattle Wednesday night in two sections. They expect border patrol work in five days and recall regimental traditions including notable past feats by the unit.

United States Army Board Passes Up Lewis Machine Gun
