Mrs. Jennie B. Damourette of Seattle sent Paloma a cream white Chihuahua valued at 2500 dollars to the Hollywood Gardens prize at the Seattle Kennel Club show. Paloma, three pounds, died in her third year from pneumonia after a glamorous but stressful season. Paloma’s loss is mourned for her trust and affection, not the money, and she is buried on a cliff overlooking Puget Sound.
