Gov. J F A Strong of Alaska testified before Examiner Wilbur La Rue Jr at the Interstate Commerce Commission hearing on rate structures for Chicago to the Pacific Coast travel. He argued that the current tourist schedule acts as an artificial barrier, diverting traffic to the Southwest and reducing Northwest tourist flow. The hearing, led by Chairman Charles A Reynolds, includes multiple state and city representatives and rail officials, with adjournment expected to resume after noon.
