Daring Men Begin Transatlantic Flight From Sag Harbor

Three navy transatlantic planes led by the N C 3 departed from Coast Guard Station 11 in Sag Harbor at 10 30 a m heading northeast toward Halifax. The squadron included N C 1 and N C 4 with a dirigible escort, planned to fly to Mon tauk Point and onward via Scotia Newfoundland and the Azores, expected to take seven and a half hours.
