900000 Will Join Fight on Rockefeller

Indianapolis May 8 A statement from the ex board of the United Miners of America says no general strike of 500000 miners will be called in sympathy with the Colorado walkout. The group favors keeping miners at work to finance the radio fight for one year or more while supporting those on strike. They urge continued moral and financial backing from trade unions and citizens and say Colorado will likely win the strike if protections from the government are provided. The miners remain ready to respond to any call.
