Methodist Opposition to Ireland Freedom Resolutions
The Methodist general conference in Baltimore adopted a resolution urging Congress to defeat bills recognizing an Irish republic. Rev. J C Nicholson introduced the measure. Another part of the Episcopal address on the league of nations was sent to the state church committee for consideration.
