Results from three live departments feature an anniversary sale offering skirts blouses and petticoats at 7 95. Box-pleated black satin models plaid taffeta looking pieces and serge options in navy or black with trim details. Second floor sections showcase Georgette crepe de Chine and jersey silk petti coats with bright ribbon trims.
The Bon Marche marks its birthday with a Tuesday anniversary sale across floors. Curtain scrims with lace edge drop to 29c, Latin camisoles and foulard fabrics discounted to 2.35, black corduroy 95c a yard, and men’s union suits reduced. Limited stock on some items.
The Bon Marche lists anniversary bargains on toilet goods and beauty items. Highlights include large soap bars at 8 for 256, large chamois 24x27 inches at 2.25, auto sponges at 45c, Squibb Olive Oil at 0.35 0.65 and 1.00, Sterno stoves and kitchenette sets, shaving brushes 20c, and perfumes 0.85 0.29 0.50 per ounce. Dental mental and physical tests will be given to registered babies during Child Welfare Week at the Bon Marche under the Seattle Federation of Women's Clubs. Only babies registered will be examined. Register this week at the Personal Service Booth on the Second Floor.
