Breda 17 of 7349 26th Ave N W was attacked at night by a man who beat her about the head and body and fled. Police arrested Melvin Olsen 25 at 2852 W 60th St and jailed him on an open charge. Olson allegedly forced his attentions and was said to have assaulted the girl who was later cared for by Dr W Knudson amid severe bruises.

Five Hurt In Olympia Car Crash Near Lacey
In Olympia district on Tuesday night Miss Ingle of Olympia lost an arm and a leg after a car driven by Lawrence Mills left the highway a mile north of Lacey and crashed into railroad iron. Four others sustained severe bruises in the wreck. Mills and the other occupants escaped with lesser injuries.
