Stratton Will Not Be Spared In Murder Charge
Efforts to drop the prosecution against Guy C. Stratton for man slaughter after his car fatally struck Henrietta Johnson, six, near Ballard on January 26 have failed. Chief Deputy Vanderveer says the case will be vigorously prosecuted and Stratton must appear in court next Saturday to plead. Attorneys for Stratton offered a settlement with the family, but Vanderveer rejected this approach.
