In Redondo Beach California a mother claims her three month old daughter Vivian Constance Robbins was resurrected from death after the child died seven months earlier. The family, influenced by spiritualist circles, says the infant appeared to the mother in dawn light and was laid beside her on the bed. Medical doctors examined the baby and mother and found no fault, though some question the miracle. The Robbins and Wheelers plan to establish a spiritualist colony to mark the event.

In Denver on March 21 Hugh O'Neil, a newspaper man, faced a hiccoughs attack after appendicitis surgery. Doctors could not stop it and said champagne was the only remedy. Leo Lowenheim gave his last bottle, and O'Neil is expected to recover.
Karl Friedrich Wurzbach, 66, sought a superior court ruling Monday to validate a judgment. He plans to marry soon, and his fellow woodsmen had nicknamed him Fred Martin after the woodswork.
Police Judge John B. Gordon sentences Gregorio Billolos 22 to thirty days in jail and a $100 fine after he was captured by a police dog named Utah on Saturday for allegedly etching a Jap motif. The arrest was led by officer Never greep Duncan.
Clara Hamon and her sister Mrs. G. J. James were baptized at the First Christian Church in Ardmore Oklahoma following Hamon's acquittal on a murder charge connected to Jake L Hamon's death. Property valued at 1.5 million dollars was wiped out in a weekend fire that leveled the Howe Sound Mining Co concentration mill at Britannia Beach in British Columbia. No lives were reported lost. The blaze started Saturday night and burned through Sunday.
Two American soldiers were killed and a third seriously injured in an automobile collision with an express train near Weissenthurm. Officials at Coblenz confirm the incident and are reviewing reports at headquarters.
Governor Hart signed the poll tax bill Monday, approving a yearly tax on all persons aged 21 to 60 with an emergency clause preventing referendum. Officials say counties must hire clerks to census residents for tax lists, while opponents consider a court challenge to the emergency clause and a possible recall movement led by Joseph F. Manning.
The Municipal League special committee on the poll tax bill will report out Tuesday at a noon luncheon of the Teague at Blanc's. State Senator T. D. Rockwell will address the meeting on recent legislation. The public is invited.

On a dark storm night March 18 Dr. C D Shannon drives a stranger home who claims his wife and twins are inside a Georgetown house. After a hurried ride past Union depot toward Georgetown, the stranger pays five dollars and reveals he sought a doctor to save taxi fare.
Sheriff Starwich and deputies raided the Cant Agree boat house near Madison Street and Kirkland ferry at midnight. They seized six quarts of beer and one and a half quarts of whisky and arrested proprietor Jess O Connell and four others. Bail was posted: O Connell $500. Turner Hughes Brown and Jamison $50 each. No charges were specified.
Deputy Phil Yolt was temporarily dismissed by Sheriff Matt Starwich pending investigation of a dispute with Patrolman Edgar Barr over an attempt to seize liquor from bootlegger Paul St. Clair. A federal agent backed Yolt, leading to questions about guilt while the inquiry continues.
