Five hundred advertising parachutes would drop from the plane as the show runs through Saturday at Fourth Ave and Columbia St. Elks guests attend Friday night and Special Features and Visiting Dealers Day follows. Saturday night features Crystal Pool antics at 11 pm with final curtain Saturday. John Larkin and Merlin Madson of Indianapolis set a new six cylinder motor time record of 48 minutes 16 seconds, beating the prior 49 minutes 18 seconds.
