Ollie Peabody son of Puget Sound Navigation Co president Charles F. Peabody narrowly escaped death when his runabout crashed off the Latona bridge Sunday. The car skidded through a heavy guard rail, tore away 60 feet of railing, and landed on its side. Peabody freed himself and walked home unaided to 1144 Harvard Ave.
