A Northwest timber camp near Tenino sits idle as a large logging railroad rusts away. A camp for 200 to 300 men remains unused while hundreds of millions of feet of fir timber nearby could supply ships. An idle locomotive and gear sit on rusting tracks as wartime urgency goes unanswered.
Berlin via London reports from Mozyr that the Pripit flotilla comprising six armored boats thirty five motor boats and six hospital boats was captured by the German war office.
