Gill protests against report on Ballard Electric franchise
The council rejected the corporations committee report denying Ballard Electric a short franchise to run electric wires to Fort Lawton after a protest by Gill. The issue will be reconsidered to allow Ballard Electric a hearing. Beattie Electric secured a temporary track franchise on Fifteenth Avenue North and Highland Drive for paving Renton Hill streets. A push aims to pave Queen Anne Avenue from Galer Street north next spring.
