John Kelly, 73, was struck by Northern Pacific passenger train No. 321 on the Georgetown track at 7 30 am. The deaf man sustained a broken shoulder and multiple bruises after walking on the track near a curve and failing to hear the approaching train.
In a quarrel over a dog, John Dominigo shot Dan Denemi with a shotgun last night. Denemi lost muscles in his right arm and was taken to county hospital, while Dominigo was jailed at the county jail. The incident occurred at Sunnydale below Georgetown.
