At the Coliseum in St Louis on June 14 delegates gathered for the Democratic National Convention. The crowd watched suffragists in white and yellow, bands, and celebrities arriving as Chairman McCombs opened the session with Gov. Martin Glynn delivering pro Wilson remarks and lively audience participation followed by a long cheer-filled cadence on arbitration and negotiation.
