Ernest E Hod, an employee of the Tacoma Power company, was burned by live wires while erecting an illuminated sign at 118 Washington St yesterday. He was reported as rapidly recovering at Wayside hospital, after being rendered unconscious briefly. he lives at 1164 Denny.

A telegraphic dispatch described a boy at Booneville as Baker but authorities confirm the boy is not Prewett Baker, son of Mr and Mrs R D Baker of Eagle Harbor, who was abducted two years ago. Herbert M. Smith, a Tacoma smelter employee, fell into a vat of molten slag and was burned to death after his clothing burned away.
