The Zeppelin works shift from dirigibles to a four engine monoplane with 260 horsepower Maybach motors. Wings span 104 feet made of duralumin with an interior tunnel for engine access. Fuselage about 60 by 14 feet carries 18 passengers and crew of four or five. Top lookout for the pilot. Empty weight near 11 000 pounds with similar load capacity. Speed reaches 130 mph and slows to 55 mph for landing.

Meadowdale Woman Is Killed by Train
A Meadowdale woman, Mrs. Josephine Keester aged 42, was found dead between the track and sea wall near Meadowdale. The body was discovered by J. Budford, an interbay operator residing at Meadowdale where the husband owns a ranch. Investigators believe she was struck by a local train as she dodged a special Elks train. An inquest is planned.
