Womans suffrage debated by minister and leaders
New York July 21 Rev Dr Henry A Muelhtel former Colorado governor predicted backlash from suffragist leaders as he denounced woman suffrage from personal experience with its effects. Dr Buchtel chancellor of Denver University argued against suffrage citing chivalry and the Colorado example where women have full rights. He warned of male resistance and claimed power is misused by women seeking influence.
