Beattie and Ankeny factions clash over King County support as Preston seeks victory in a tight caucus. Rumors claim King County could switch to Preston if not elected by Wednesday, shaping the Thursday Senate session.
A devastating blaze at a North London asylum destroyed the Jewish wing of Olmey Mateh, killing fifty inmates and leaving many others missing. Forecasts predict more snow as a cold snap drives temperatures down toward two degrees. Weather office reports heavy accumulations in the northwest with mixed sleet, rain, and freezing drizzle as residents brace for continued wintry conditions.
