Four Year Old Visitor Killed in Seattle Street Accident

A four year old visitor from Telkwa British Columbia was fatally struck by a car at Sixth Avenue and Jackson Street in Seattle. The accident occurred seconds after he darted into the street while his mother and siblings waited nearby. The driver, F A Shelton, was arrested and released on recognizance as fault was deemed the boy's. The child died at 2 am after being taken to the city hospital with a broken leg and internal injuries.

Robbers Escape With 7350 At Café Heist

Two masked burglars planned and executed a cafe robbery watched staff for days. They forced Kemp to open a safe containing 350 cash and 5000 in checks and fled down Main Street after threatening staff. Kemp retrieved a gun from the office as they left.
