Documents found tied him to espionage with a Krupp gun base blueprint passports and letters. He claimed German university graduation military service and seven language ability.
San Francisco’s waterfront was sealed tight today for the first time, with armed soldiers marines and mounted police patrolling the area as a precaution against pro German plots.
