The body of George L. Guffy will be shipped by Bonney and Stewart to Vallejo California. The funeral for Henry C. Hendrickson was held from Butterworths chapel this morning. Burial followed at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Funeral services for A Moe were held at Butterworths chapel at 2 PM with Rev. A L Hetherickson officiating. Interment was in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
F M Woodruff of Northern Commercial Co represents a proposed electric streetcar system for Skagway. The company will seek a city council franchise to run lines from Moore's Wharf to Second Avenue and beyond, with Main Street extensions. They request two years to complete the system and ordinance passage in about two weeks.

At an afternoon meeting the council passed an ordinance to vacate part of Railroad avenue for Moras Bros to use in constructing the battleship. Moran argued for a two year extension to vacate, while the committee’s recommendation and a unanimous vote approved the measure with two years to vacate.
