Drowning in Green Lake Claims Local Skater
An 18 year old boy, Arthur Minniemeyer, drowned after both he and 15 year old Archie McReth plunged through thin ice on Green Lake near Home station at 10 this morning. Archie's rescue was aided by G M Ainstie editor of the Green Lake News who paddled to safety. The body of Arthur was recovered and taken to the Wremont parlors. Archie survived and returned home. Arthur is son of John H Minnlemeyer, a Seattle library employee.
