Mrs. Susan Mills age 86, founder of Mille college, registered as a Republican voter at the college yesterday. About 100 women students were enfranchised as well, Mrs. Mille noting she had long believed her father’s forecast that women would vote and that some in his family would live to see it.
George Ganley claimed he saw a woman leap from a sixth floor window in a New York block. Police found Ganley instead and took him to the station with a label of insane while he spoke of traveling and going to Seattle.
