Boss of Parks Faces Continued Refusal to Be Fired
The city park commission will decide Wednesday on steps to end the controversy over J. W. Thompson’s charge that he served as park superintendent while Jacob Aminuft performed the duties. Thompson cannot be removed without written reasons approved by the Civil Service Commission, which must sustain them. Corporation Counsel Meter advised Saturday.
