Berlin reports German authorities reject any return to the soviet republic in Munich. Strikes and unrest persist in Mannheim and Oberrhein regions as prisons are crowded and armed patrols patrol cities. Arrests include a brother of Count Luxburg linked to a monarchist plot. crowds gather where premier was killed.
Berlin dispatch reports War Minister Rosshaupter preparing to attack Munich revolutionists who are reinforced. Interior Minister Auer and Count Arco-Valley were reported alive after Friday shootings. A newborn baby boy was found at the doorstep of Dr. C. G. Haggard at 2048 25th Ave N after a cold Saturday night. The infant was taken to juvenile authorities and then temporarily housed in city hospital care. Dr. Haggard cared for the child at his home Sunday to prevent further chilling before handover.
Delegates to the Pacific Coast convention of Metal Trades councils voted for a Coast wide strike April 1. The Portland convention backed a referendum vote on returning to the yards and opposed a shipyard conference in Washington.
