A four horse team driven by Jack Patterson sank. a Seattle Lumber Co boom debris caused the collapse by weakening the roadway. The street car company seeks permission to build a new roadway and drive piling for the two tracks. The company cites its maintenance contract with the city and plans a full reconstruction after the incident.
