Olympia Feb 15 The board of land commissioners asks Attorney General Tanner to investigate the title of J M Clapp former government engineer on the Lake Washington canal to part of block 69 Lake Union shore lands. Clapp allegedly sold shore lands to King County for 87000 for a dock site and later took title from the State County Commissioners Hamilton Rutherford purchased Clapp property over protest of Commissioner McKenszie who urged prosecutor Murphy to look into the matter.
