The Bouillon campaign committee appeals to Bouillon supporters to serve as workers on election day from opening to counting. Volunteers may report to Bouillon headquarters at 412 Oriental Building at any hour Saturday or Sunday.
The Star accuses Gill of corruption and favors Bouillon for mayor. It argues Bouillon would appoint capable officials like Wappenstein, denies pledges, and claims the police chief and law office will face intensified activity under Bouillon.

Mrs. Cleo Bicar, 26, crooning love songs in a cabin north of Ballard, attacked Sheriff Robert Hodge with an axe and hammer after two failed attempts to murder him. She was subdued and jailed as deputies reported a disturbed scene including guards and a barred cabin door observed by J. C. Drake and his brother two miles from the 10 mile post on the Great Northern.
Frank E. Winchester, a paid worker for the Gill operation, was arrested after a two day city search on charges of illegal registration. He admitted handling Third precinct Fifth ward registration books for Gill in January and forged over 40 names. Police found voter cards and registration sheets on him as Grand Jury probes possible misuses.
A benefit for stricken Parle sufferers is planned at the Grand or Moore theatre with support from the Chamber of Commerce and a French committee led by J. B. Joujon Roche and K R Angias Turenne. The program will feature vaudeville stars from the Orpheum Pantages and Majestic and may include Olga Netheraole. The Chamber of Commerce fund lists several donors including Judge Burke and Seattle Hardware Co.
In Manshvield Oregon on February 2 the bodies of nine Czarinan wreck victims were recovered bringing total known dead to 24. Three bodies washed ashore yesterday with one near the Umpqua river mouth and another at Ten Mile rock opposite the wreck. No identifications yet though one may be Captain Dognan and another Mate McNicholas.
Paris February 2 Sarah Bernhardt rejected performing in music halls or appearing with acrobats or animals. She criticized London's Coliseum and denied any contract for a series of light entertainment shows, insisting her artistic career would not be compromised.
Samuel Vanderford, 59, a former asylum inmate, shot and killed his 58 year old wife in their Hillman City shack and then shot himself. He survives in City hospital with low chances of recovery. Neighbors say jealousy drove the tragedy as John Johnson, a nearby laborer, had visited Vanderford’s wife against his wishes. Vanderford’s daughter, from a prior marriage, lives in Searby. her address is unknown.
Patrolman H. C. Smith once stationed on the Plummer street beat was indicted today by the King county grand jury for accepting a bribe from a fallen woman. He appeared in court this afternoon and posted bond set at $1,000.

James Weir of the Royal Arch notes the Palm saloon owner James 1265 Flatay faces indictment for saloon screen law violation. Prosecutor Vanderveer allegedly asserted the current screens met the law. Judge Ronald allowed James to await investigation on personal recognizance.
