Olympia February 2 The bills taxing public service corporations on gross earnings progress. Bacesetti's express tax bill 7 percent passed the house and awaits senate committee. Bassett's private car company tax 7 percent passed the house and goes to senate. Rhodes Spokane introduced a telegraph tax on gross earnings. Estimated annual revenue from all three bills ranges from 50000 to 180000. These firms now largely escape taxation.
Thursday evening at Egan's hall the Egan Dramatic and Operatic School offers an attractive program with one act plays Camille and Merely Mary Ann. An added feature includes a number of apedalata headlined by the children's ensemble class.

The steamship Dakota of the Great Northern line was reported to have entered at Tatoosh at 4:30 p.m. today and is scheduled to arrive at the Great Northern docks this evening.
